The storekeeper places the paper in every ...See moreThe salesman arrives in the town of Podunc and convinces the storekeeper that swatting the fly is endangering the health of the good citizens, so lands a big order for his sticky flypaper. The storekeeper places the paper in every conceivable place and starts an advertising campaign on the wonderful fly catcher. Before long his customers, while lounging around the counter and the potato sacks, find themselves covered from head to foot with this sticky paper. A fight ensues and a riot call is sent in to the constable. He arrives and also becomes entangled. However, this does not stop the sale of the fly-paper, and before long every housewife is well supplied, and many side-splitting scenes take place as a result. Finally the salesman is kicked bodily out of town after being plastered up with his marvelous fly-paper. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis See less
