Jim Hurd, a member of the Hatfield clan was mysteriously shot. The balance of the Hatfield clan planned vengeance. Jeff Hurd, nephew of Jim Hurd, neutral in the feud, is called to take care of the Jim Hurd's ranch. He meets Almirey Cole, falls in love with her and determines to see her again, although he was informed that crossing the creek would mean death to him.
