The boys dislike to see them go as they were great favorites. One young Frenchman is especially is perturbed A letter reaches the boys at that moment telling that an obscure uncle has left them his estate. They hasten to the village where he lived and discover the estate consists of a general store, submerged in debt. Percival Van Bergen, a young millionaire, drives into the village after a wild night and is so hungry he buys the whole store for $300 just to get something to eat. The boys take the money and go to the city. They become stock brokers. Roy spends most of his time making love to Miss Jane, the stenographer, and Barton is keeping off the bill collectors. The young Frenchman bursts in on them and announces he has a commission from his government to purchase two million dollars' worth of ammunition. The boys persuade him they are the proper persons to execute the order. From Van Bergen, who does not recognize them, they obtain an advanced of $1,000. The war order is forgotten and they go to a winter resort and Barton poses as Van Bergen with Jones as his secretary. Barton and Grace Melville fall in love and elope. Van Bergen comes in time to discover the deception and have Jones arrested. Barton confesses all to the girl and she marries him anyway. However, they haven't any money to pay the justice and he has them arrested. At the jail they meet Van Bergen, Jones and Mrs. Melville. As the boys are about to be thrown into cells the Frenchman and Miss Jane appear and square everything with Van Bergen. The young millionaire and the boys decide to form a company to manufacture the war supplies and connect with the $2,000,000 of the French Government. Miss Jane and Roy indicate that another wedding will follow. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis See less
