To solve their mistrust towards one another, Mason offers her to sign the papers relating to the Brandon at the same instant when it will be likely to put up her surrounding wall. The lift goes down with Kelly and C.C. in it. Marcello's tape starts up and father and daughter discover that Marcello planned to kill C.C.. Fearing for Kelly's life, Marcello heads for the staircase down towards the basement, followed by Sophia. He arrives at time to move away from the centre the machine gun which is only scratching C.C.. Forced to admit the facts, he confesses to Sophia that he had come back in July, 1979 to Santa Barbara then to kill C.C.. He is stopped by two policemen. But a short-circuit is created suddenly starting a fire in the basement. On the floor, Eden is nervous, worrying not to see Cruz arriving, harassed by Carmen Castillo, and alarmed to learn that Nick does not know what he made of his alliance. Cruz gets ready with Danny and joins Eden. Finally, the ceremony can begin... The usual ending credits are replaced with extracts of this episode around Eden and Cruz, with Ashford and Simpson's song, Solid As a Rock. Written by vonfleissig See less
