Somehow the fire is lighted without a match. Kate moves heaven and earth to make Roman help her get into Lucas's room, but just when he accepts despite abusive disbelief, a call takes priority. It's Steve who is ready to testify against E.J. after a visit from Stephanie. However Dr. Granger now waves the brainwashing-tarot card in Steve's face. On Tinda Lao, Shawn makes clear to Belle she stretched his patience long enough, which sinks in after paternal advice in a dream to trust her lover.
