The new mother is overwhelmed by the situation: Not only is she suffering from unclear physical symptoms, but her marriage to the child's father is also clearly under severe strain. After an accident in which Malin unfortunately endangers her baby, she comes to the practice with an injury. But why is the woman feeling so ill? And why is her husband apparently not accepting his son? When Malin's condition then dramatically worsens, Christian and Tanja are challenged on all fronts... At the same time, Christian and Tanja know that challenging times are ahead for the family, as Tanja has made a decision: She will accept the professional challenge in Tübingen. Soon, she will be away from Eisenach four days a week, with corresponding consequences for the relationship, the children, and the practice. Anke unexpectedly visits with Ben and meets Urs, Piwi's new partner, for the first time. She's now able to accept being left by him for a man. But when she sees Urs interacting with Ben, it suddenly becomes clear to her that this man will also play a role for Ben in the future-an unbearable thought for Anke.
