Julie says she indeed did keep the letter when the telegram arrived. Eileen now knows after talking with Joe that Ben told him that if after reading the letter and Eileen did not meet him then Ben would leave town. Julie goes to find the letter and gives it to Eileen, which confirms what Ben had told Joe. Julie apologizes to Eileen and feels horrible. Anna and Jenny prepare to go to the nursing home to visit Mrs. Schmitt. Tim arrives at Anna's to accompany them. Once they are at the nursing home, Tim sees how poorly Mrs. Schmitt is being treated. Jenny and Anna reveal to Tim that when a patient does not have family to watch out for them, they usually are not treated well. Tim is astonished and decides to help Jenny and Anna with their crusade. Victor asks Dorian that if he does not go to Louisiana and decides to recuperate at Llanfair, would Dorian be his private doctor and friend. Dorian is thrilled that Victor has asked her and that she did not have to manipulate the situation. At home Dorian tells Matt about Victor and that the smartest thing she ever did is to not take Victor's ten thousand dollar check. By not taking his check Victor now trusts Dorian.
