So, when it's this time of the season and all members of the elite go on summer vacation, August and Joyce resort to faking luxurious holidays. They travel to an imaginary place, called "Summerville" in a trunk that they also pretend to be a boat, a park bench, a bar etc. At the end of their fake summer vacation, though, August and Joyce are happy and that's all it matters.
