The documentary goes through Max career as a film director, from his very first works like Rosso Tigre (1996) and Marameo (2000), to his last works like Poli Opposti (2015). It depicts his passion for the classic cinema and how this passion developed from his childhood. It also shows how being raised by his mother and his grandmother and seeing notable actors like Cary Grant on the screen when he was a child morphed the vision he had about the cinema as a whole and his own personal way of making movies, giving his own touch to each and every movie release.
