At the store, he ...See moreOn Abdi's 27th birthday he's asked to cover for his boss at the local convenience store and decides to record his performance submission to the Ellen Degeneres show there, his shot to fulfilling his dream of being famous. At the store, he discovers that three customers, PEG, TAYLOR, and RAHMA, (late 20s) are from New York City, his dream city, Abdi manages to get them to stay for his performance, when everything is thrown in a new direction as Peg goes into labor and Abdi is forced to overcome his insecurity to help deliver the baby, all caught on camera. Ultimately Abdi realizes he's more capable than people in his life believed him to be and with his newfound fame from recording the birth, he chooses to move to New York City.
