In this short documentary, daily moments of Amsterdam are depicted. Moments of people and images of the natural environment are moving in slow and fast rhythms -matching with the slow and fast rhythm respectively, of the music we listen to- as the rhythm of everyday life itself. People come and go. Traffic increases and decreases. Birds sit to get some rest and fly away again. Machines turn on and off their engines, constructing or demolishing buildings. The sun goes up and down every single day and life goes on and on without ever stopping. The film in a way is -or is willing to be- a reference to the 1982 film 'Koyaanisqatsi' directed by Godfrey Reggio, which was consisted of slow motion and time-lapse footage of cities and natural landscapes across the United States.
