In the inevitable future, a woman named Polly has it all, at least on the surface: a great job at a "like" farm, a hunched spine just like the celebrities have, even a guy who wants to list her as "in a relationship" with him, but she longs for more. She dreams of meaningful connection and of seeing a sunset with her own eyes like people used to long ago when they had straight spines, instead of on the federally issued screen everyone wears attached to their bodies. But when Polly decides to make her dream come true, she risks it all. See less
