Though unwilling, her husband Dev Saxena, a government officer, also accompanies her to spend his vacations. Contrary to his wife, he has got a very low opinion about the tribal. In Jhabua, they come in touch with a Bhil family. As a part of tradition, Bhils take home made Mahua liquor on all occasions right from their birth to death.For them, its like a 'prasad'. Dev develops a taste for this cheap country liquor and wants to make a quick buck by selling it in town. For this, he starts exploiting poor Bhil Mangya's family and lures them with money.
