Pushy reporter Joe Tyler unsuccessfully tries to create a story about Spectra crashing the Forrester's big day, but Eric and the others claim that they were too busy with their part of the fashion show than to properly acknowledge the "Armando Collection" and therefore decline a comment on the quality of their rival's designs. Still hurt about his wife's absence, Ridge decides to throw an impromptu party at the Forrester Mansion to celebrate his designing success with the models. Stephanie worries that Ridge will turn to Brooke, though. In Scotland, the tables are turned for once when Taylor opens up to James and confesses that she fears that she is losing Ridge to Brooke. James assures Taylor that Ridge will not risk their marriage. Back in L.A., Brooke looks after Ridge who gets drunk at the after show party. To lift his spirits, Brooke tells Ridge that she is thinking of giving back the company. They embrace and even share a kiss - a moment that is photographed by a paparazzo. Written by Torsten B.
