She believes most if not all of the medical practices that are used to "help" trans folks assimilate were created by white, cis men. Elle is dating, a non binary person in California and the moment she saves enough money she is moving to LA to be with them. Elle is experiencing homelessness and reaches out to her estranged dad for help and shelter, but finds it difficult to follow his rules, which include her not dressing "too feminine" at home. Brielle is an activist who is very keen to the unfair politics that permeate the nonprofit sector. Brielle is a fierce trans womxn who refuses to be used by nonprofit companies that only seek to look like they are diverse without working to be truly inclusive. Brielle explores love as she and her boyfriend, Jace - a trans man, prepare to move in together after 6 months of dating. Xaria has been transitioning for a year and has decided to transition physically by taking HRT, hormone replacement therapy and plans to move forward with gender reassignment surgery.
