Kieslowski used a seemingly banal creative method. Meeting hundreds of heroes, he asked each of them the same questions: "what year were you born", "who are you" and "what would you like?" From many hours of recordings, he selected 44 conversations from which he created a social panorama. There was room for a several-year-old girl who wanted to be a "Mermaid Car", a shy schoolgirl who dreamed of a better world, a thirty-year-old man who confessed that "I am a nobody for now", as well as a woman over a hundred years old who just wanted to live longer. This is how a masterpiece was created that still moves and inspires today, as evidenced by both "Talking Heads II" by Krzysztof Wierzbicki, a friend of Kieslowski, who in 2004 made a documentary continuation of the 1980 documentary, as well as the song "Talking Heads 80-06" by the band Myslovitz, a great musical adaptation of the famous document. "Talking Heads 2021" is also a tribute to the masterful film from years ago and Kieslowski himself, as an artist who remains an inspiration and point of reference for artists from all over the world to this day. In the film, the director gives them a voice, asking about who they are, what they want, and what they would tell Krzysztof Kieslowski years later if they could talk to him again. Written by
