Boxer Leonel Raina is deported to Mexico just as he was about to enter the ring for the most important bout of his life. Adrift in Mexico City's Central Market, Leonel - who doesn't speak Spanish - ends up entangled in a conflict with local gangster El Gordo. Just before the most important fight of his life, Leonel Reina, a Latino boxer in the United States, is deported from the country. Unable to speak a word of Spanish and suddenly astray in the Central Market, Leonel ends up entangled in a conflict with El Gordo, the neighborhood gangster. Assisted by Iker, Kevin and Miss Meche, Leonel sets out on a desperate journey to prove that he is an American citizen and return home. See less
