However, both are historical caesuras that divide our lives into two eras: the time before and the time after the pandemic. This film looks at the moment in between. It interweaves two dozen people in the state of emergency of the first wave of Covid-19 and the global lock-down with the universal work of Boccaccio. The result is, on the one hand, a snapshot of perhaps the strangest and most emotional time of our current pandemic, and on the other, a reflection of society in forced upheaval that goes far beyond this moment.
