Father and daughter easily endure separation, their relationship cannot be called close. Nevertheless, for the sake of the anniversary of Sergei Nikolayevich, Katya returns to Russia. During the celebration, Nadezhda Bragina (Inna Miroshnichenko), with whom Belyavsky had a holiday romance twenty years ago, reports that another daughter of the hero of the day is present in the hall. Daria Bragina-Belyavskaya (Polina Nosykhina) is introduced to the family and guests. Two weeks later, Katya, who has returned to the UK, receives news of her father's death. The lawyer (Oleg Zamyatin) reads out the will: only Daria inherits all of Sergey Nikolayevich's money, and Katya and the widow Anna (Maria Anikanova) get a house in the village. Katya is indignant, she does not believe that her father could do this. Anna, suddenly poor, resigns herself to her late husband's decision and leaves for the countryside. Meanwhile, Daria wants to know the reason for such a strange division of property. She invites Katya to join forces and conduct a joint investigation. See less
