Despite their sacrifices, they question the true accomplishments of their struggle. The wife seeks employment abroad, leaving their daughter with her husband, but she becomes trapped, prompting him to seek help from a former comrade, who betrays him. In desperation, he decides to leave the country. Their daughter's innocent question, "What does a country mean?" underlines the theme of patriotism and belonging. Meanwhile, a dramatic twist involves the husband's encounter with a sex worker who was also a former Maoist fighter, sparking controversy for its portrayal of former fighters.
