Claire finds difficulty in moving on from her past, and Whitney finds difficulty in confronting her future. Olivia, feeling the backlash from President Bennett's drug testing, finds her new boss dating her old boss. At a mandated group therapy session, Olivia meets Brandon, an old friend of Kyle's, and Alexis mistakes a flame for a spark. Kyle takes Brandon to an underground poker game at the coffee shop, and Max shows up uninvited.
