It's Round 5 of the 2022 'W Series' Championship and we visit the historic and picturesque 'Circuit Paul Ricard' in France. It has a short history compared to other racing circuits. It was first built 1969 and has held several 'Formula 1 ...See moreIt's Round 5 of the 2022 'W Series' Championship and we visit the historic and picturesque 'Circuit Paul Ricard' in France. It has a short history compared to other racing circuits. It was first built 1969 and has held several 'Formula 1 Grand Prix's' intermittently in it's time from 1971 and has produced some of the most memorable races in 'F1'. It's idyllic location is complemented by it striking colourful blue and red run-off areas (instead of gravel traps). These run-off's are highly grippy but severely abrasive to the tyres. If our 'W Series' competitors go off the circuit, they will find out to their cost. There skill, speed and precision will be tested in front of the 'Formula 1' teams and another new audience base.
