We built him a stunning GTO and ...See moreWe built the 1965 GTO convertible for Navy Veteran Rob who was an F-14 Tomcat RIO while in the Black Aces, not unlike Goose played by Tom Cruise in the movie Top Gun. Rob is from Panama City Beach, Florida. We built him a stunning GTO and revealed it to him at the famous Flora-Bama bar on the border of Florida and Alabama. It's a super cool story because his neighbor is the one who submitted him for this. He had to part ways with the GTO years ago in his divorce and couldn't afford another one, and he talks about it daily to his friends and neighbors. It's a very touching story and a beautiful reveal. The mayor of Orange Beach came out to join us for the reveal. Our builder on the show, RJ performed live on stage at Flora-Bama bar that weekend. See less
