But his calmness isn't going to change, because shortly afterwards, a currywurst stand on the Rhine is robbed. The perpetrator races off with the loot on a jet ski. The investigation focuses on gastronomic competition in the form of Duisburg's reigning currywurst king and a craftsman who has an outstanding bill after building the sausage stand. And Frank van Dijk also has his own personal score to settle. During the investigation, he suddenly encounters jet ski pro Ruben Rus, who stole his childhood sweetheart Katja from him. The two are now even married. Moreover, Frank was always the runner-up, which is why he gave up his jet ski career and joined the police.
