Due to the fact they did not have any children, the inheritors were Nabil's brother Ismat and Amani's sister Intisar, and their families. Seeing that the inheritance wasn't small, Nabil and his wife set harsh conditions to choose the best suited, and the worthiest, to inherit them. Those being Intisar and her children or Ismat and his children. The inheritance is an old-fashioned house, with an old abandoned coffee shop facing the house in addition to a sizable amount of money. Nabil and Amani had their philosophy; hence, they did not divide the inheritance between their siblings but thought that there should be only one-person worthy more than the others to receive the entire estate, particularly for a noble reason that we will gain knowledge of later in the story.
