The apparently driverless yacht Drako, which the two wanted to check, picks up speed and disappears. Shots at police officers are a case for the Konstanz public prosecutor Gregor Mertens, who gets involved in the investigation. While Nele discharges herself from the hospital and appears like a ghost to her worried mother Mechthild, Julia and Jakob first track down the owner of the yacht, the lawyer Robert Grimm, and then his Drako on Lake Überlingen. On board is a dead junkie with a weapon whose caliber would fit. Case solved, thinks public prosecutor Merten. But he has not reckoned with Nele, who, pumped full of painkillers and sleeping pills, continues the investigation - and gets very close to the public prosecutor in the process... In the meantime, the police have found the dead junkie's roommate, Luca Smolka, on a campsite. His statements open the door to club owner Sandro Kubitschek, who obviously mistreated his wife Miriam and who has so far always slipped through the police's grasp. His business partner Baz Lehmann is not on good terms with him because Kubitschek still owes him money. The police look for Kubitschek and find his lawyer.
