The flora of the whole world has fallen into a state of petrification for more than 40 years: plants are not growing or dying anymore. 90% of the world population has left the planet using the "Arks", huge spaceships that can contain thousands of people, in the direction of Arret, an exoplanet with very similar characteristics to the Earth. Meanwhile, 10% of humanity has decided not to leave: those who have perpetrated this choice are called "The Outliers" ("I Solitari). Demetrio, a young man who grew up during the pre-apocalypse times, is one of them. Now, disillusioned and alone, he decides to return to his old father's house, with the aim of reconnecting with him before the imminent end. See less
