Intelligent, well-spoken and on his way to becoming upwardly mobile when one day, the unthinkable happens. He's found wandering off-campus, mumbling to himself. After a series of health-related setbacks over the years, Eric, has now become dependent on his family for things most take for granted. He finds solace in writing, and longs for his words to be heard by a much larger audience. Spending much of his time alone in his bedroom away from much of society, his sense of worth and lack of human interaction leaves him to his own devices. Heavily medicated, yet yearning for more human interaction, Eric makes a choice. One impulsive action can change the course of everything. The next several hours reveal levels of turmoil and uncertainty as his family struggles for resolution. See less
