As an undercover agent, he found himself among the Netherlands' most notorious criminals, placing listening devices in cars, houses and flats, once even dangling from a block of flats. But after a period of highs - also on a personal level - Peter Paul finds himself in a free fall and several years later sits at home alone with his service weapon, full of compulsive thoughts about suicide.
