Detective Ojo, who happens to be her late husband's brother takes it upon himself to detain and interrogate her, he uses inhumane means just to get the truth, in the cause of this she let's him know that late husband, his brother isn't the good man the society thinks him to be, to her he's a monster who does horrible things to her and in fact caused her to have miscarriage. It is soon realized through autopsy that the late husband and brother died of heart attack and Adunni was later released.
