He walks around in various rooms as if looking for someone. He goes into the bathroom. He is shocked to see a dead body of a lady in a bathtub. The eyes are open and looking directly at him. He is terrified. Six months later, a young man, Sayyam, turns up at his uncle's office. Sayyam is absolutely terrified. His uncle who is a lawyer calms him down. Sayyam says there is a reporter, Aarti, who came asking him questions about the Neeta Mehta case. The lawyer remembers the Neeta Mehta case. She was a prominent personality whose body was found in a bathtub. He says that as far as he knows the police had closed the case calling it a suicide. Sayyam says the reporter claims she has evidence proving that it was a murder, not a suicide. And she said she had evidence tying Sayyam to the murder... Sayyam, his uncle, and Aarti the reporter get into a meeting. Aarti says that she knows that Neeta Mehta wasn't alone in the cottage she was found dead in. She tells Sayyam that she knows his friend, Aviral was there with her that weekend. Sayyam admits this but he says he has no idea where Aviral is. Aarti says she has proof of their involvement and wants to meet with Aviral or she will go to the police. She has taken interviews with the owner of the cottage where the body was found, the local reporter on the case, the guard at the cottage and society where Neeta Mehta stayed, and the local police. Sayyam gets scared and reveals the whereabouts of Aviral.Arti insists on meeting with Aviral Sayyam arranges a meeting with Aviral and they both tell her their story.
