While three of them have a cynical approach and apathy towards the country, a girl defends India with logical rebuttals to their accusations. The debate turns into a heated discussion when one girl claims that there is no freedom (Azadi) in India and that the liberty is just namesake. When the debate reaches a stale-mate, the nationalist girl wishes that the other three experience the Indian Independence Movement to learn the true value of freedom. Her wish comes true and the trio gets transported into time where they go from one era to another and witness the violence, sacrifices and deaths that won India its Independence.
