At the onset of the film, we see Bailey, our main character, sleeping next to her boyfriend, Kofi. Bailey and Kofi have had a relationship filled with ups and downs since college. At this point in time, Bailey is seeing success at work and looking to secure her romantic future as well. When Bailey wakes up on the anniversary of her and Kofi's relationship feeling unhappy with their progress, she ends the relationship and steps back into the dating world.
