Nina explains that she told Singer, a detective in the murder case, that Byrne wanted her to help him steal and use the Reids' credit cards and she had refused. Singer had then bullied her into helping him frame Byrne. As a result Byrne killed himself but this was before Callum was buried so he is ruled out of the new investigation. Claire discovers that the blanket in which Callum's body was wrapped came from her house and Maggie brings Daniel in for questioning. He admits that he lied about his whereabouts on the night of the disappearance as he was with Teresa, with whom he was planning to run away. Maggie is annoyed to be called to the school about Sam's introverted conduct and perturbed when he mentions a man to whom he speaks. At the same time the Reids are stalked by Tom Rose, who once did some work for them and who later confesses to Maggie that he killed Callum. Written by don @ minifie-1 See less
