Cindy is overwhelmed with anxiety and fearfully worried when her gambling addicted husband George abandons her without explanation after a night at the casino. As her anxiety deepens, she turns to Chris, George's friend, for support and comfort. As his wife is comforted by another man, George, desperate for a perfect life free from financial stress and burden, strikes a Faustian bargain with a biblical creature.
