Efron said when he picked up the script, he couldn't put it down and liked the aspect of the film's point of view told through a civilian. Meanwhile, Allen said a bit about his character and then went into how the script was one of the most insane stories he had ever read and was willing to do anything he had to do to make sure he was a part of the film. The rest of the cast was excited to talk about their characters, their initial reactions when they heard it was a true story, and why they were so excited to premiere at the festival.
