Death reaps a young boys mother and brings her to the afterlife, a beautiful but lonely place. Continuing on his journey Death crosses paths with Kid, a young girl with the power of resurrection. She begins to bring people back from the dead in an effort to make friends with the only other person with powers like hers, Death. Death has a run in with the boy who lost his mother, the starts a fight but is horrified to find out he too will soon punch his ticket. As he starts to choke Kid rushes in to save him, but after the rescue is cut down by a passing car. Death takes Kid to the lonely afterlife but at the last second decides to let her stay. They travel together reaping the souls of the small town less lonely than before. See less
