The lead actor in the role of the old man is a neighbor of the director. He acted in English, but he doesn't know a word of English. The lead female is also non non-actor. The screenplay has been chosen amongst nearly 2000 screenplays for a special project called '50 Kisses'. Stare Y won best director in London on February the 14th.
