What about that time in between high school and middle age though? What about those "middle years" between adolescence and colon exams? Ah yes... those are your twenties. Those magic years where all your dreams come true and anything's possible right? Well... sort of. Alan's a young man (mid twenties) jaded in life, loses his job and is thrust into the real world. His landlord (who catches him nailing her 18 year old granddaughter after he's already told her he got fired "and she agrees to let him figure things out for a few months" (the beginning of film) tells him simply no more free rides (rent wise) and he is forced to find another job and stay somewhere he hates (or pack up his things and leave) all in 30 days....
