With an interview with Conway conducted by Jeremy Lovering in 1996 for the BBC program "The Lying Game: The Great Pretenders" and the help of Alexander Walker's testimonies, the documentary attempts to present Conway's lie and dual personality as objectively as possible of him. The narrator closes the documentary by mentioning Conway's past as a thief and the sexual harassment committed against young boys, again using Kubrick's name, an event that Christiane Kubrick complained about in an interview with Sight and Sound. Curiously, Alan Conway died a few months before Kubrick, also from a heart attack. Brian W. Cook and Antony Frewin, Kubrick's longtime collaborators, wrote and directed the film Color Me Kubrick, a comedy based on the story of Alan Conway, with John Malkovich in the lead role.
