Hiroki Matsukata slashes, slashes, and slashes with his brilliant technique. Han Bunjaku, who plays a mysterious nun, is also enchanting in her bewitching charm. Sanzo (Matsukata Hiroki) and Yumenogosuke (Ashiya Gannosuke) are former Onmitsu, who are now traveling pretending to be a merchant and his bodyguard in Edo. On their way to Nakamura Castle in Oshu, they are arrested to ask questions. The 30-odd members of the daimyo's procession, led by the lord of the Soma Nakamura clan, Soma Inaba no mori (Tsuyoshi Ibuki), are said to have left Iitate near the border this morning, and then disappeared as if they are spirited away. Iwase Danjo (Aoki Yoshiro), the feudal lord in control of the domain, has ordered to prevent the public from knowing what has happened, and Sanzo and Gosuke are almost executed in prison to keep them from talking.
