Nervous, but ambitious, he ...See moreFinn, an aspiring musician, implements a three-pronged approach to help jumpstart his career. Out of his own pocket, he pays for press photos, a professionally mixed song and organises a single launch gig. Nervous, but ambitious, he enlists the help of producer Dave to record his music, as well as bassist Max and drummer Dylan to play in his band. However, at their photoshoot, photographer Anna reveals that she's already been hired by Max's other band to shoot their gig, which is on the same night as Finn's show. In the studio, tensions rise as a persisting buzzing noise halts the production. Finn confronts Max about their conflicting gigs, but he's reluctant to abandon his other project. While Dylan continuously tries to change the song, which is seconded by Dave. Finn grows increasingly frustrated by everyone's criticism, and is left with a crushing sense of uncertainty, unsure of whether he's cut out for the music industry. See less
