Stevie faces another confrontation with Phil, then asks Mo to do him a favour. Phil is angry when he finds out that his car is missing and he calls the police. At the same time, Stevie asks Billy for a chance to say goodbye to his grandchildren. Meanwhile, Sonia catches out Reiss as he decides to rent out the spare room to help generate the £18,000 needed for Debbie's care fees. Reiss explains his reasons, but Sonia puts her foot down over the idea of a lodger. There's better news for Reiss when Sharon offers him work chasing up her outstanding invoices. Elsewhere, Bobby explains to Peter why he's in no mood to celebrate his 21st birthday. At the same time, Peter gets suspicious over Ian's strange behaviour, but Ian tells his family that he's thinking of running for the council again.
