But there is an ongoing truce pact between the two parties and violence must be avoided so that the prisoners exchange can take place smoothly. As the two characters start conversing, with the officer being uncomfortably verbose, it is revealed that the officer has also been transferred from the region as a part of the truce pact. Throughout the act of shaving he keeps instigating the barber with his words. The barber ultimately loses her cool and takes a drastic action when the officer proceeds to describe in gory details about how he killed the barber's lover. See less
