At over seventy years old, she decided to move to Hammamet. Her son, with a small crew, follows her, trying to understand the intimate reasons that led his mother to such a radical life change, as well as the personal, economic, and cultural reasons that drive more and more elderly people to leave their roots and emigrate to countries with a lower cost of living and a tax-friendly environment, allowing them to increase their pensions. Reflecting on the ability to reinvent oneself at any age, with a touch of irony that overturns traditional generational roles, the documentary tells of how Antonietta found a new community of Italians, all different from one another yet all seeking an "earthly paradise" made of friendship and solidarity.
