The main characters of the documentary are four young men for whom the army was their dream and they dedicated their lives to fulfilling this dream. Going on a mission was supposed to be a test of manliness and soldier's skills. The true face of the Polish mission, kept secret and hidden in the soldiers' memories, is the basis for the structure of the film's action and drama. When deciding to go on a mission, the heroes were in family relationships, and yet they decided on their own, without consulting their loved ones. Today, when you have to pay for your decision, the costs of this repayment are borne by your loved ones. The author of the film, by entering into a dialogue in which he asks questions that are uncomfortable for veterans, becomes another challenge for them, forcing them to make such honest confessions for the first time since the accident.
