However, the police, who were called in, do not have much hope for a quick success in the investigation, especially since the monkeys' tracking chips appear to be out of order. Together with Jasper, Susanne decides to make a public video call and thus directly address the thieves. Matteo, who is already at the airport, also sees this appeal. There, a suspicious gray station wagon catches his eye - the only clue the perpetrators left behind. It is clear to Jonas that, given the tragic events, he and Gina cannot celebrate a carefree wedding at the zoo. When the lemurs' radio chips start moving again, he and Susanne spontaneously follow the signal that leads them to the airport. There, Matteo is already on the trail of the perpetrators and wants to catch the monkey thieves. Thanks to a daring move by Jonas, the thieves are overpowered, and the crowned lemurs fall into Susanne's hands unmolested. At the airport, Susanne says goodbye to Matteo. The already canceled wedding is taking place at the zoo after all. A wonderful night full of feelings and emotions. Gina and Jonas are a dream couple. Susanne has a frank conversation with Mike - which leads to their breakup. At the airport, Matteo finds it difficult to go through security and thus say goodbye for good. The next day, Susanne is alone during surgery when someone hands her the right instruments at the right time. Susanne is surprised: It's Matteo. The two look into each other's eyes.
