The three kids who are named Abraham, Hazel and Sarah are close friends with each other and they hang out almost everyday. One day Abraham, Hazel and Sarah were called in by their parents to have a meeting. Abraham, Hazel and Sarah came downstairs to have a meeting with their parents, the parents told them that they are both turning 18 next week. The kids are confused because they know that they are turning 18 next week. But that is when they both find the shocking news that their parents aren't their biological parents and the three of them find out that they are from a town called Uglyville where a bunch of kids called uglies live until they turn 18 where they go through a mandatory cosmetic surgery that makes them pretty. Abraham, Hazel and Sarah are all shocked after finding out about the fact that their parents aren't biological and that they come from a town called uglyville. Not only that but Hazel, Abraham and Sarah's parents have decided to send the three of them to uglyville since they are turning 18 very soon and the parents want the three of them to look like the pretties so that the parents can have perfect images and so that they can use their kids for fame Abraham, Hazel and Sarah are both scared and frustrated at the situation as they do not want to go through a cosmetic surgery.
