They stop to smoke a cigarette, drink coffee, have a slash, and continue into the heart of the desert. It is there that they say goodbye. The son waves farewell and walks to the camp, and the father drives home...but something stops him on the way: anxiety. Anxiety for his son's fate. He retraces his steps and plants himself under a large acacia tree, near the base fence. He doesn't move from there. Thus begins a sort of a road movie.....a travel film in a parking lot. People come and people go. And the man remains under the tree. Waiting either for good news, or a request for peace.
