No one in Products Band snorts cocaine much anymore, but this song may have you fooled. Combining playful-yet-sinister bass grooves with irresistible funk/punk swagger, “The Matter” pours political alienation into a shot glass before hitting the dancefloor. Alex Hanson’s nervy + sexy delivery gets fans boogieing with one eye over their shoulders. Don’t worry, they included a hypnotic, chant-able chorus as well.
